Soundproof Ghana began in 2018 with a simple frustration: too many "soundproofing" jobs in Ghana were really just foam glued to a wall — no survey, no target, no proof it worked. We set out to do it properly.
We measure before we promise
Noise is physics, not decoration. Every project starts with a survey — we measure the noise, find how it travels (through the air, along the structure, or leaking around the edges), and set a target you can hold us to. Only then do we quote. After the install, we measure again, so the reduction is a number you can see, not a claim you have to trust.
Built for Ghanaian spaces
Over the 8 years since, we've quieted the rooms Ghana actually uses: church and mosque halls fighting complaints from neighbours, conference centres and boardrooms that needed confidential speech, schools and lecture halls where echo swallowed the teacher, recording studios, generator compounds, offices, clinics and family homes. Different problems, the same discipline — decouple, add mass, damp and absorb, then verify.
Materials that survive the climate
Ghana's heat and humidity are hard on the wrong materials. We specify mineral wool and fabric- or PET-faced acoustic products over bare open-cell foam, and we detail the junctions and penetrations where sound really flanks. The result lasts — acoustically and physically.
Honest about what soundproofing can do
We never promise "total silence" or "100% soundproof" — no honest acoustician can. We promise a measured reduction to an agreed target, verified before and after. That honesty is the whole company.
